Three people were killed Thursday in a head-on collision in Redlands, authorities said.
The two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene on Orange Street north of Pioneer Avenue, said Carl Baker, a spokesman for the Redlands Police Department.
The 9:30 a.m. crash involved a commercial van with one passenger and a minivan with eight passengers, Baker said. The six others sustained major injuries and were taken to a hospital. The northbound side of Orange Street will be closed until about 2 p.m. while police investigate the crash, Baker said.
