Two weeks in and The Fabulous Forum has been a hit.
Thanks for taking the time to read my riffs on sports and politics/entertainment/water cooler fodder and for leaving your comments on the board. You may not agree with what I write, but baby, I just scrawl it like I see it.
Here are the folks I’ve insulted or offended this week:
- The National Review (thanks for the publicity, by the way)
- John McCain
- Angels fans
- European soccer players
- People who call the California Angels the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (are the Dodgers the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles?)
- Mike Scioscia
- People who don’t think men should cry
- Vlad Guerrero
- People who think Bill Maher = evil
- Cubs fans
- People who don’t like politics in sports blogs (then keep my sports out of your politics -- for example: hockey/soccer moms who drop the puck at Flyers-Rangers games)
- Republicans
- Craig Sager
- George Bush, Sarah Palin and stuffed monkeys everywhere
Lisa Guerrero has covered Super Bowls, NBA championships and the World Series, along with the Oscars, Emmys and Grammys. As an actress, she has appeared on ‘Frasier’ and ‘The George Lopez Show’ and as Billy Baldwin’s long-suffering wife in the film ‘A Plumm Summer,’ which she executive-produced.
