Compton plays host to Verbum Dei, Tartans’ Coach Calvin Bryant’s alma mater, at 5 p.m. Friday.

Bryant, in his fourth season at Compton, graduated from Verbum Dei in 1987.

‘We just want to come out and play our best, no matter who we’re playing,’ he said.
