Scott on the move again

Before we even get started on yet another recruiting update on Darrell Scott, I’d like to go on record saying that I think the senior running back from St. Bonaventure is going to end up committing to Florida when all is said and done. It’s just a gut feeling. Enough about me, and my trivial instincts.

Scott visited Texas over the weekend, and according to Rivals.com he was impressed with Coach Mack Brown and the rest of the Longhorns staff. Two weeks ago, Scott, one of the most sought after recruits in the nation, took an official trip to Colorado. There’s plans for visits to LSU and Florida in the near future.

In the meantime, Scott and the Seraphs continue to prepare for Friday’s Northern Division playoff opener against San Luis Obispo. As for the future, who knows... Scott, a Florida native, has been quiet about his intentions and plans on making a decision sometime after the season is finished. My money is on the Gators. Can’t wait to tell everyone, ‘I told you so.’
