Upland has taken a 14-7 lead over Los Osos midway through the second quarter after linebacker Darrell Clark intercepted a pass by Richard Brehaut and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown.

Los Osos had a big break two plays earlier when Upland fumbled a punt return and the Grizzlies recovered. Brehaut has completed six of 15 passes for 54 yards with one interception.
