Football: San Pedro’s Franco talks about semifinal triumph

Well, thanks to another fine defensive performance by San Pedro in its 27-7 victory over Taft in the City Section Championship Division semifinals on Friday, the Pirates will be gunning for their fifth section title next weekend.

I caught up with San Pedro linebacker/running back Robert Franco (who scored two touchdowns) after the game and here’s what he had to say about beating Taft and the challenge ahead:
