The semifinals in Southern Section Division 1 volleyball don’t include Manhattan Beach Mira Costa or Los Angeles Loyola, the two dominant programs in recent years.
Instead, the four remaining teams are from the Marmonte and Trinity Leagues.
In Tuesday’s semifinals, Santa Ana Mater Dei will host Westlake Village Westlake and Thousand Oaks will host Santa Margarita.
Mater Dei upset top-seeded Mira Costa in five games on Saturday. The championship match is Saturday at Cypress College.
