Football: Mission Viejo picks up running back from Newport Harbor

Buzzy Yokoyama, a running back who rushed for 146 yards for Newport Harbor in a playoff loss to Mission Hills Alemany last season, has transferred to Mission Viejo, according to OCVarsity.com.

‘He was a good, hard runner,’ Alemany Coach Dean Herrington said.

Mission Viejo’s backfield is already strong with USC commit Jahleel Pinner.
