Lancaster Paraclete has advanced to the American Legion state championships in Yountville after winning the Area 6 playoffs.
The Spirits are 16-1 this summer, led by second baseman David Metzgar and pitcher James Cabrera.
Former Palmdale and Quartz Hill Coach Lance Pierson is guiding Paraclete.
