Boys’ basketball: Brandon Randolph starts with 31-point performance

Junior Brandon Randolph scored 31 points as Playa del Rey St. Bernard began its basketball seaosn with an 80-63 win over Peninsula.

St. Bernard will be playing this week in the Westchester tournament.

Corona Centennial was hit hard by graduation, but the Huskies are 3-1 behind junior Sam Finley, who’s averaging 21.5 points, and freshman Sedrick Barefield, who’s averaging 21.0 points. Centennial plays this week in the Santa Monica tournament.
