R. M. McIntyre Heads Drive for Housing Funds

The Greater Los Angeles Neighborhood Housing Services have named Robert M. McIntyre, president of Southern California Gas Co., as general chairman of its 1985 campaign to raise $1 million to support nine local NHS groups’ efforts to revitalize declining neighborhoods.
The Los Angeles NHS serves four neighborhoods, Boyle Heights, Barton Hill-San Pedro, Vernon-Central and Crenshaw, while five other NHSs serve Pasadena, Inglewood, Santa Ana, La Habra and San Bernardino, according to Howard Craven, senior vice president of Union Bank and president of the Los Angeles group.
Campaign vice chairmen are Stuart Davis, vice chairman, Great Western Savings; George Moody, president and chief operating officer, Security Pacific National Bank, and David R. Carpenter, president and chief executive officer, Transamerica-Occidental.
Also participating in the fund-raising effort are Donald Crocker, president, Rotary Club of Los Angeles; William Shane, senior executive vice president, Mercury Savings & Loan Assn.; Robert R. Dockson, chairman and chief executive officer, Cal Fed Inc., and Leland Prussia, chairman of the board, BankAmerica Corp.
