Cookson, Other Officers Installed by Escrow Unit

Carl Cookson, chairman of the board of Santa Clara Land Title Co., San Jose, was installed as the 1985 president of the California Escrow Assn. at the organization’s recent education conference in Santa Clara.
Other new officers are: Bea Wiles, of Allison-McCloskey Escrow Co., San Diego, president-elect; Joyce Jones, Escondido Escrow Co., first vice president; Nancy Powers, Safeco Title Insurance Co., second vice president; Pat Tomlinson, Modern Escrow Co., third vice president.
Also: Audrey Hearn, Academy Escrow Inc. East, Rancho Cucamonga, secretary; Laurel Dove, Marford Escrow Corp., Glendora, treasurer and executive committee members Suzanne Blackburn, Margaret Carman, Sondra Cook, Joyce Cooper, Bonnie Hodges, Wilanne Mora, David Shean and Priscilla Stasulat.
Cookson, a past president of the Santa Clara Valley Escrow Assn., is a past president of the San Jose Symphony and vice president of both the San Jose Chamber of Commerce and the San Jose Hospital Foundation.
