Peru and Colombia OK Plan for Fighting Drugs

LIMA, Peru — Colombia and Peru, two of Latin America’s leading cocaine smuggling countries, have agreed on secret measures to step up the fight against drug trafficking, the Peruvian Foreign Ministry announced Friday.
The ministry said the measures were decided on during a two-day meeting of senior justice and police officials from the two countries in the Peruvian jungle city of Iquitos.
