Pepperdine and UCLA Gain Volleyball Final

No. 1-ranked Pepperdine and No. 2-ranked UCLA advanced to the final in the UCLA volleyball tournament Friday night at Pauley Pavilion.
Pepperdine (9-1) defeated USC, 15-6, 16-14, 9-15, 15-2, limiting the Trojans (14-6) to a hitting percentage of .161. UCLA (23-3) beat UC Santa Barbara, 15-12, 16-14, 15-5, dropping the Gauchos to 13-8.
Pepperdine and UCLA meet tonight at 7:30, following the USC-UCSB consolation game at 5:30.
