UCLA Beats Pepperdine in Volleyball Final

No. 2-ranked UCLA defeated No. 1 Pepperdine, 15-12, 15-11, 11-15, 15-10, in the final of the UCLA Collegiate Volleyball Classic Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion.
UCLA, which lost to Pepperdine in three sets at Malibu Feb. 13, is 24-3. Pepperdine is 9-2.
Asvjorn Volstad, the tournament MVP, led the Bruins with 19 kills. Tim Otterman had 14 and Andy Klussmann 12 for UCLA.
In the consolation match, USC defeated UC Santa Barbara, 15-11, 6-15, 17-15.
