13 Homers Hit as UNLV Tops Long Beach, 24-22

Nevada Las Vegas scored a 24-22 nonconference baseball victory over visiting Cal State Long Beach Saturday in a game that saw 13 home runs hit.
Winds gusting to 48 m.p.h. at Las Vegas contributed to the wild four-hour game, which also featured 41 hits and 11 pitchers. Rebel first baseman Mike Oglesbee had three home runs, two of them grand slams.
