The company said the new national magazine will be called Picture Week and will be devoted to news photography. Test mailers said the weekly magazine will feature “a close-up capsule view of the world’s week in pictures.” Officials at New York-based Time Inc., which publishes Time, Life, Sports Illustrated, People, Money, Fortune and Discover magazines, would not provide details on how Picture Week would be test marketed or how much a full-scale launch of Picture Week might cost.
