The city is to begin advertising for bids next month for a contractor for a $100,000 street repair project.
Once a bid is accepted, repairs probably would start in late April with completion expected in about two weeks, said Joseph Wang, city engineer. The City Council approved the slurry seal project last week.
More than 40 streets, an area of about 1,601,000 square feet, will be repaired, Wang said.
