Beverly Enterprises terminated a joint venture.

By mutual agreement, the Pasadena-based company dropped out of a venture with Leisure Technology Inc. to jointly develop and manage a $25-million retirement community in Lakewood, N.J. Beverly gave no reason for its decision. Leisure said it plans to proceed with the development.
