Cloudy Skies Should Clear for Parade

There will be a lot of the wearin’ of the gray in Orange County skies as the wearin’ of the green is celebrated below this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
But night and morning low clouds today and Saturday are expected to give way to afternoon sunshine, so all should be well for Saturday’s noon start of Mission Viejo’s 16th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The clouds will be back Sunday, for which the National Weather Service is forecasting partly cloudy skies all day. No rain is in the forecast for today or the weekend, however.
Other Activities
Afternoon highs for the three days should be in the low- to mid-60s along the coast and low-70s inland. Nighttime lows will be in the 40s and 50s.
Other St. Patrick’s activities in the county include the second annual “Erin on the Green” festival, sponsored by the Bowers Museum Irish Council, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in the museum courtyard in Santa Ana.
