Man Given Probation for Intrusion at Cuomo Office

ALBANY, N.Y. — An unemployed man who tried to force his way into Gov. Mario M. Cuomo’s Capitol office to ask for a job was sentenced Thursday to three years’ probation. Robert Shorts, 34, was sentenced by Albany Police Court Judge Thomas Keegan according to the terms of a plea bargain agreed on last month.
