Two squadrons of French police were dispatched to the French-ruled Caribbean island of Guadeloupe as officials investigated the bombing of a bar in Pointe-a-Pitre that killed one person and injured at least eight others, including four American tourists. Marion and Jane Martz and Chester and Robina Ray-- were in guarded condition with burns.
