USIU Women Split With Cal Poly Pomona

SAN DIEGO — Missy Silacci’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the U.S. International softball team a 4-3 win over Cal Poly Pomona in the second game of a doubleheader at USIU Tuesday. The Broncos won the first game, 2-0, on a two-hit shutout by Rhonda Wheatley.
The Gulls are 16-13.
