Heroin Worth $61,600 Seized; 4 Arrested

Undercover Garden Grove police officers seized three ounces of high-grade heroin worth $61,600 and arrested four people in Santa Ana on possession charges, a spokesman said Friday.
The four were arrested Thursday by drug agents at a Santa Ana apartment at 715 N. Spurgeon St. Agents had bought heroin at the apartment, the police spokesman said.
The agents arrested Jose Perez, 22, Norma Perez, 24, and Juan Ledesma, 26, all residents of the apartment, and charged them with possession of heroin. Jose Valencia, 21, of Santa Ana, alleged to be the group’s supplier, also was arrested and booked for possession of heroin with intent to sell.
