Bridge Work to Close Section of La Cienega

A section of La Cienega Boulevard in the Baldwin Hills area will be closed all day today because of construction work on a bridge for the Baldwin Hills state recreation area, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works said.
Deputy Director Louis Muto said the boulevard, a major thoroughfare for airport traffic, will be closed in both directions between Wrightcrest Drive on the north and Stocker Street on the south beginning at 6 a.m. Muto said the department hopes to have La Cienega reopened by evening.
