I was shocked by Robert Hilburn’s reference to Bob Geldof as a “marginally talented rocker” (“Behind the Scenes of a Pop Miracle,” March 24).

Geldof played a major part in organizing the “We Are the World” super-session, and Hilburn’s comment was spiteful and unnecessary.
