A 17-year-old University High School student died Sunday of head injuries suffered in a car accident for days earlier, coroner’s deputies reported. Eric S. Humble of Jarrito Court died at 6:45 a.m. at Palomar Hospital. Humble and a passenger were headed north on Pomerado Road near Highland Valley Road about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when Humble lost control of his vehicle and it overturned. The passenger received minor injuries.
