LOS ANGELES COUNTY
Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, received a contract valued at as much as $19 million from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for technical support services on 85 automatic weather stations across the United States. The one-year contract, for $3.5 million, is renewable over five years.
U.S. Medical Enterprises Inc., Santa Monica, which operates a network of medical clinics, has acquired the Park Medical Group of Buena Park for $1.2 million in cash and notes.
The RDA subsidiary of Logicon Inc., Torrance, has received a three-year, $4-million contract from the Defense Nuclear Agency to provide technical support, including the development of testing procedures for a new, small intercontinental ballistic missile.
The Tracy-Locke Inc. advertising agency, based in Dallas, will open a Los Angeles office Aug. 1.
Rising Star Industries, Torrance, said it is discontinuing its exclusive marketing pact with Epson America Inc. under which it had provided software design, development and support service for Epson computers.
