Edwards Rejoins Clippers at Utah

The Clippers, who were officially eliminated from NBA playoff contention Sunday night when Phoenix defeated Seattle, will play at Utah tonight (6:30 PDT) with guard Franklin Edwards back in the lineup.
Edwards missed Friday night’s game in Dallas when his second 10-day contract expired and the offer sheet the Clippers tendered had yet to be matched or waived by the Philadelphia 76ers, who had the rights to Edwards. Monday, the Clippers announced that Edwards has signed a contract for the rest of the season, which ends at the end of the week.
Edwards is averaging 5.9 points and 2.8 assists in 12 games with the Clippers.
