Mayor Gloria Kim Dillard of Bradbury Dies of Cancer at 48

BRADBURY — Mayor Gloria Kim Dillard died April 5 of cancer. Mrs. Dillard, who was named mayor in March, had served on the City Council since 1980. From 1979 to 1980 she was a member of the Planning Commission. At the time of her death she was a member of the board of the Mid-Valley Manpower Consortium and the city’s representative to the Southern California Assn. of Governments, Sanitation Districts, League of California Cities and California Contract Cities.
Mrs. Dillard, 48, graduated from USC and was a dental hygienist. She is survived by her husband, Bill J. Dillard.
