4 Arrested Over Posters Urging Pope’s Murder

AMSTERDAM — Police arrested four men today after finding dozens of posters stuck up around the city calling for the assassination of Pope John Paul II when he visits next month.
Police spokesman Klaas Wilting said the four, all in their 20s, were caught putting up posters offering a $4,400 reward for the liquidation of the Pope.
