The City Council this week approved a $27,000 expenditure to install 16 new street lights along Deep Valley and Rox Cove drives in the city’s business district. The cost will be borne by 39 Peninsula Center-area property owners within a county street lighting maintenance district. The new lights will be installed in six or seven months.
