Santa Monica College has 19,214 students taking college credit courses and an additional 3,286 students enrolled in non-credit adult classes, according to spring enrollment figures. About 55% of those enrolled in college credit courses are women. A third of the students listed themselves as Latino, Asian, black, American Indian or Filipino. The average student age is 26.
