Jewel Plummer Cobb, president California State University, Fullerton, was elected a director of First Interstate Bancorp, the Los Angeles-based parent of First Interstate Bank.
Also named to the board was Don C. Frisbee, chairman of Portland, Ore.-based PacifiCorp and a director of First Interstate Bank of Oregon.
