Two men were arrested Thursday and booked into the Anaheim City Jail on suspicion of murder in the stabbing death of an Anaheim man last week, police said.
An Anaheim police spokesman said that John Michael Lehr, 21, of Anaheim was arrested by detectives near the Arizona border Thursday afternoon. Shortly before that arrest, police apprehended Michael Lee Autry, 24, of Anaheim at a store in the city, the spokesman said.
The two were charged with the murder of Jack Shawn Cochran, 23, who was found stabbed several times in the chest on April 18 by police officers responding to a call at a house at 605 E. Commercial St. Police said no motive for the stabbing had been established.
Lehr and Autry are being held without bond at the City Jail, the spokesman said.
