An elderly couple were killed Saturday night when they were struck by a car as they walked across a busy street with no crosswalk, Anaheim police said Sunday.
Police and fire officials found Chiming Chang, 73, and his wife, Engmy, 68, of Anaheim dead at the scene about 8:10 p.m., said Sgt. Jack Jansen.
The Changs were crossing Santa Ana Canyon Road at Solomon Drive when they were struck by a westbound car driven by a 17-year-old Anaheim youth, Jansen said.
The driver, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, was not held. An investigation is continuing, police said.
