$50 Million Theft Called Biggest Robbery Ever

NEW YORK — Four masked gunman stole almost $50 million in cash today from a vault in a Wells Fargo garage in Manhattan after overpowering and handcuffing four guards, police said.
Police said it was believed to be the largest robbery in history.
Police said the bandits got away in an armored truck.
The robbery occurred about 1:45 a.m. EDT in the Wells Fargo Armored Service Corp. garage in lower Manhattan.
Police said four gunman in ski masks burst into the garage as employees were opening a vault to remove money. The gunman overpowered four guards and handcuffed them to a forklift. None of the guards were injured.
