A Paramount man was killed and a teen-ager critically injured when the motorcycles they were riding collided head-on while running back and forth along a residential street in Downey. Marty Cooksey, 24, was dead at the scene of the crash in the 10200 block of Priscilla Street, Sgt. Ron Arrington said. Harlem Lee Beaver, 17, of Norwalk was airlifted by helicopter to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition with head injuries and numerous broken bones.
