Laguna Beach Rally Beats San Clemente

Laguna Beach High School rallied from a 2-1 deficit in sets, Tuesday, to defeat San Clemente in volleyball, 12-15, 15-6, 14-16, 15-9, 15-13, in a Southern Section 4-A wild-card game at San Clemente.

Middle blocker Kurt Blanton and left side hitter Mark Draper led the Artist comeback. Laguna Beach, 10-4 in the Sea View League, advances to Thursday’s first round where it will play at North Torrance. San Clemente was 8-4 in the South Coast League.
