Dave Johnson Gains Racquetball Berth

Dave Johnson of Huntington Beach advanced to the first round of the Ektelon National Racquetball Championship in the Sports Gallery at Anaheim with a forfeit victory over Wes Snead of San Diego in qualifying action.
The first and second rounds of the championship will begin today, and features No. 1 men’s seed Marty Hogan and No. 1 women’s seed Lynn Adams of Costa Mesa. Adams will be playing her first round match at 3 p.m.
