Comedian and film actor Dom DeLuise will be awarded a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday in a rare evening ceremony starting at 7.
DeLuise, who has acted in films since 1966, is best known for his roles in comedies directed by Mel Brooks and Burt Reynolds. He also has directed one film, “Hot Stuff,” released in 1980.
DeLuise’s star will be embedded in concrete at 1765 N. Vine St., just south of Yucca, between stars given to Richard Hayman and Marlon Brando.
