EEC Electronics Concerns Press for Trade Barriers

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Officials at NV Philips, the giant Dutch electronics company, said the European Assn. of Consumer Electronics Manufacturers has asked the Common Market to impose a standardized import duty of more than 14% on Japanese consumer electronics products.
