‘Misguided’ Raid on Laboratory

Your editorial said that it’s time to put a stop to the Animal Liberation Front.
Those of us who are truly concerned about human health know that it’s time to put a stop to research using animals.
Animals and people are different. Our government requires that after drugs or medicines have been tested on animals they must again be tested on humans before being released for use. If research on animals were dependable then such testing on humans would not be necessary.
The reaction of an animal to a drug, chemical or treatment may or may not be the same as a human being’s reaction. Therefore animal research cannot be safely applied to humans. The use of animals in research experiments is as ludicrous as it is dangerous to our health.
