Cogenic Energy Systems Slates 3 Joint Ventures

NEW YORK — Cogenic Energy Systems Inc. said it entered into three cogeneration joint ventures.
The company said it entered a venture with Brooklyn Union Gas Co. for the installation, ownership and operation of a $4-million cogeneration system for the Staten Island Mall.
A venture between Cogenic Energy and Energy Initiatives Inc., a Jersey Central Power & Light subsidiary, will install a cogenic module at the YMCA in Mountain Lakes, N.J.
Cogenic Energy also said it reached a joint venture agreement with Allegheny & Western Energy Corp. for the promotion of cogeneration in West Virginia.
