CESTONA, Spain — A bomb planted by suspected Basque separatists exploded near a paramilitary civil guard patrol car, slightly injuring two guards, authorities said.
The bomb went off last week on the side of a road as the patrol car entered the northern Basque town of Cestona. Police said they believed it was the work of the ETA, an acronym for Basque Homeland and Liberty.
