SAN FRANCISCO — Posting a “Beware of Dog” sign will not limit a pet owner’s liability if the dog bites someone, according to a lawyer here.
In fact, the sign could work against the owner in court. It could become an indication that the owner was aware of his pet’s “vicious propensity.”
