Deadline for entries in the Student Design Competition sponsored by the Society of American Registered Architects is late September.
The annual contest traditionally involves a design project in the city where the society holds its annual convention. This year, with the convention planned in San Diego in November, students in architecture schools throughout the country have been asked to design a community arts center for the downtown redevelopment area of San Diego.
Three cash prizes totaling $4,000 will be awarded to the winners.
The competition is open to all students attending accredited schools of architecture. Details of the program and entry forms may be obtained from Raymond Studer, 3049 16th St., NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
