Carlsbad Retirement Community Scheduled

Construction is expected to begin this summer on the $4.1-million, 148-unit Villas de Carlsbad retirement home in Carlsbad, according to a spokesman for the developer, Income Property Group, San Diego.
The three-building Mediterranean-style complex, designed by Sillman/Wyman & Associates, San Diego, will be built by Koll Construction Co. on a 4.63-acre site between Knowles Avenue and Laguna Drive.
