An Encinitas man died Sunday after he was thrown from his car when it overturned and rolled down a hillside, authorities reported. Ronaldo Prez , 25, a janitor at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputy Coroner Penne Hammerstead said Prez was driving northbound on Leora Lane at 2 a.m. when his station wagon left the road, overturned, rolled down a hillside and landed on La Costa Avenue. Two passengers, Marguerite Patrick and Wesley Grab, both of Oceanside, were treated for minor injuries at Scripps Hospital in Encinitas and released.
