Yomiuri Giants Win on Plays by Cromartie

TOKYO — The Yomiuri Giants posted a 3-1 Japan League baseball victory over the Hanshin Tigers in 10 innings Sunday.
The Giants had tied the game, 1-1, on a double by Warren Cromartie, formerly with the Montreal Expos, in the eighth. In the top of the 10th, Cromartie made a diving catch on a fly ball to center field with runners on second and third.
